Things to do during lockdown: relax, bake, or sell a multimillion-dollar home.

By Leah Salvesen

You would think that selling a house amid a lockdown is impossible, especially with almost zero viewing options available. While it could seem ludicrous to begin a campaign under these circumstances — this could not be further from the truth.

Online auctions have become normal during Lockdown and the results have been phenomenal. The simple equation here is that when people have time to view online – they’ll make the time to buy online.

This has proven true for Leah Salvesen and Venus Wang at their online auction of 27 The Crest, Sunnyhills this week.

With only one weekend of open homes before lockdown, they managed to secure 17 registered bidders. Needless to say, they had their work cut out for them.

Fortunately, Leah and Venus had ample support within Team Anton, and were able to assign each bidder an agent from their own team. As a result, an enormous 108 bids were received within 30 minutes. The initial opening bid of $1,500,000 was raised to an outstanding $2,001,000 at its final bid. A truly exceptional result for the vendor and a unique experience for the bidders.

The online auction conducted by Ken Ralph was seamless & efficient and a good example of how teamwork can create successful selling in lockdown.

With the right knowledge, experience, and support – a lockdown campaign can be an outstanding success.
