There are many positive aspects about living in a rural situation. Our tranquil position is bound on all sides by farms; a town supply farm with 300 cows, a mixed farm with sheep and cattle and a horse farm with approximately 35 horses.
These 3 farms provide us with many hours of joy watching new lambs, foals and calves at play. Add to this we have tuis, hawks, grey herons, parakeets and on our pond ducks with ducklings.
We are positioned 300 meters from the main road, a feature of our driveway is the pin oaks and flowering weeping cherry trees which are spectacular in the Spring and Autumn.
Our house is positioned at the far north east end of the property and enjoys a northwest outlook, sitting on our Gallery in the evening and watching the sunset is another delight which only country living can achieve and this is when the tranquility and peaceful environment is at its best.
